If the House co-sponsors keep coming in at the rate that they are, we’ll have a majority vote by the end of the year! Oh, well, I can dream, can’t I? Now, if we can just get the Senate to follow suit…
Lately, when I have visited the Thomas site, I feel like I’m watching The Price Is Right. You remember the old game show with host Bob Barker? The announcer would call out the names of four contestants, and say, “you are the first contestants on The Price Is Right!”
Anyway, I’m saying that to announce that the next sponsor of the Community Choice Act is:

Actually, I remember Rep. Moore. When ADAPT finished the Free Our People March back in September, 2003, we had a rally at Upper Senate Park. Among the dignitaries that came was Rep. Moore, who got out his guitar and performed “This Land Is Your Land”, and sang for us. I though that was pretty cool!

Wow! He had signed on back in 2006 after a protest by ADAPT. He didn’t sign on last year due to some kind of “misunderstanding”, and was absolutely rude to us for a long time. I’m not sure why he signed on this time. Perhaps the “misunderstanding” was cleared up (finally), or he was bitten by his conscious. Whatever. I’m just glad that he signed on!
