Live From the 25–Going Down
Please excuse the tardiness of my post. I have had a devil of a time keeping a connection to the Internet for more than 5 minutes.
Rochester ADAPT saddled up yesterday, and headed to Washington, DC for ADAPT’s 25th anniversary celebration. 56 of us piled into 2 buses and took the 8 hour journey to DC. The difference this time was that Anita O, and Mary Anne were not with us, as they are having a baby. Susan N, Hope, and all the gang stepped up to do them proud, and we got to DC with no problem, even if we did take the scenic route.
It was so great to see all of my old friends, and the many new folks! Rochester brought 13 new folks, all of them pumped up about the actions and other great stuff that will be happening this week. I am so busy, but ecstatic to be here! I will do my best to let you know what happened, as long as I can keep my connection…
